We are providing a list of resources for education, involvement, or donations if you so choose:

Education:

1. Asian Americans Advancing Justice: Bystander Intervention Trainings
To combat the current rise in harassment and discrimination and to also proactively prepare for the future increase of hate incidents, Advancing Justice | Chicago is partnering with New York-based nonprofit Hollaback! and CAIR-Chicago to plan and implement an aggressive scaling up of locally-led bystander hate incident intervention training for community members. 2. Asian American Bar Association of New York White Paper
This paper discusses the data showing that anti-Asian hate and violence have skyrocketed in 2020, focusing on the New York City region. What are the contributing factors and causes for this disturbing rise in anti-Asian hate and violence? And what actions have politicians, law enforcement, and community organizations taken to address anti-Asian hate and violence? How can we keep Asian Americans safe in America? 3. Go Fund Me
In early March, GoFundMe launched #StopAsianHate in collaboration with the organizations Gold House and the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE). The page curates local fundraisers from across the nation, uplifting efforts to support hate crime victims and increase protection and security for AAPI communities.

GoFundMe also established the Support the AAPI Community Fund, with the goal of raising $1 million that will be distributed to grassroots organizations. Also accepting donations is the CommUNITY Action Fund set up by Hate Is a Virus, which aims to raise $1 million for both national and local efforts supporting the AAPI community.

4. National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF)
The National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) is dedicated to creating change for AAPI women and girls through methods including policy change and legal advocacy. You can donate here
